We are delighted to share that our Chairperson, Heather, has been awarded the 2025 Brendan Award, presented by The Australian Irish Heritage Association.
This prestigious award recognises individuals or groups who have shown dedicated service and outstanding achievement in supporting and preserving Australia’s Irish heritage.
Heather has been the Chairperson of Claddagh for close to 10 years and has dedicated countless hours supporting the Irish community in Western Australia. She works tirelessly for Claddagh, often managing multiple cases at once and supporting those who need it most, all while working a full time job.
Her commitment, compassion, and leadership play a huge role in holding our organisation together, and we are incredibly proud to see her recognised with this well-deserved honour.
